Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations across neonatal to geriatric patients under the guidance of a Radiologist. You will position patients, select appropriate protocols, monitor equipment, and ensure quality control per ACR guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• None of the experience is required, but 6 months MRI experience is preferred.
• Licensure: ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer Registered; BLS required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence and proficiency in performing all MRI procedures on patients of all age groups.
• Positions patient, selects the correct protocol, and utilizes all required equipment.
• Maintains competencies in all non-scanner related components.
• Accurately follows all established imaging protocols for exam being performed.
• Performs quality control procedures in accordance with the ACR guidelines.
• Provides quality age specific care and patient education in accordance with prescribed standards.
