Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MR examinations and provide patient care across age groups. You will position patients, select proper protocols, and operate imaging equipment under Radiologist supervision.

Applicants must have an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology education, ARDMS/ARRT radiography certification, and BLS. No experience is required, though 6 months MRI experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited program.
• No experience required; 6 months MRI experience preferred.
• Certification: ARDMS or ARRT in Radiography; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in performing MRI procedures on patients of all ages.
• Positions patient, selects protocol, and uses required equipment.
• Follows imaging protocols and QC procedures per standards.
• Provides patient education and age-appropriate care.
