Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations and provide patient-centered care across all age groups. You will follow radiology protocols, position patients, and ensure image quality under Radiologist supervision.

Applicants should have AMA-approved Radiologic Technology education, ARDMS/ARRT registration, and BLS certification, with MRI experience preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required; MRI experience preferred (6 months).
• Licensure in Radiography: ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer Registration.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in performing MRI procedures on patients of all age groups.
• Positions patient, selects the correct protocol, and utilizes imaging equipment.
• Maintains competencies in non-scanner related components.
• Follows established imaging protocols for each exam.
• Performs quality control procedures per ACR guidelines.
• Provides patient education and clear communication.
• Positioning and protocol selection for radiologic exams across all ages.
