Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role involves patient positioning, protocol selection, and ensuring adherence to imaging standards across all age groups.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or a JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 6 months MRI experience preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer Registered upon Hire; Basic Life Support (BLS) upon Hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in performing MRI procedures on patients of all ages.
• Positions patient, selects protocol, and uses all required equipment.
• Maintains competencies in non-scanner components and follows imaging protocols.
• Performs quality control procedures following ACR guidelines.
• Provides age-appropriate patient education and communication.
