Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join our Radiology team. You will perform diagnostic MRI examinations across all age groups under the supervision of a Radiologist.

Qualifications include graduation from an AMA/JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT/ARDMS registration, and BLS. No experience is required, though 6 months MRI experience is preferred. This is an on-site, full-time position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited program required.
• No experience required; 6 months MRI experience preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer Registered; BCLS required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence and proficiency in performing all MRI procedures on patients of all age groups.
• Positions patient, selects the correct protocol, and utilizes all required equipment.
• Accurately follows established imaging protocols for exams.
• Performs quality control procedures in accordance with ACR guidelines.
• Provides age-appropriate patient education and care.
• Works under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
