Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced radiology department. You will prepare and position patients, operate MRI equipment, and ensure safety and comfort throughout procedures.

The role supports team workflow, adheres to policy, and contributes to accurate imaging for clinical decisions. The position offers flexible shifts, robust training, and access to Wellstar’s education and career progression programs.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Experience with MRI procedures preferred.
• Strong patient communication and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Position patients and ensure comfort and safety during exams.
• Verify patient identity and procedure details per policy.
• Follow department protocols for contrast, safety and infection control.
• Assist team and document procedures in RIS/PACS.
