Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to perform a range of MRI exams, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. The role requires accurate patient prep, adherence to protocols, and collaboration with clinicians in a fast-paced environment.

Must have Accredited Radiologic Technology program and MR certification (ARRT-MR or ARMRIT), with a minimum of 1 year clinical experience. PRN schedule with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for education through CareerCare.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Must hold ARRT-MR or ARMRIT MR certification.
• Minimum 1 year clinical MRI experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete clinical history and assess contraindications.
• Conduct MRI exams following department protocols.
• Ensure patient identification and privacy.
• Prepare and position patients and equipment for procedures.
• Maintain equipment and report issues promptly.
