Job summary

Wellstar is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate imaging equipment, prepare patients, and ensure high-quality MRI studies. You will work in a fast-paced clinical setting, maintaining safety standards and delivering compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, image quality checks, and collaboration with radiology staff. A certified MRI program and 1 year of clinical experience are required, with opportunities for professional growth and competitive hourly

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Certifications upon hire; ARMRIT or ARRT-MR credentials preferred.
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience; MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures with proper patient positioning and safety.
• Obtain complete clinical history and ensure proper patient identification.
• Review images for quality and accuracy; communicate results to physicians.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies; assist with pre/post procedure care.
• Operate PACS; participate in quality control and safety protocols.
