Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform imaging studies with attention to safety and patient comfort. You will operate MRI equipment, position patients, and ensure accurate study completion while maintaining high throughput.

Required is an accredited radiologic technology program and MRI certification with at least one year of experience in a clinical setting. The role is on-site in a fast-paced department and offers opportunities for growth and education support.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification required on hire.
• Minimum 1 year clinical MRI experience; willingness to work in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete clinical history and assess contraindications.
• Perform MRI procedures with appropriate tagging and safety.
• Ensure patient privacy and comfort; maintain dignity throughout exam.
• Verify patient identity and pre/post procedure care per policy.
• Operate MRI equipment and coordinate with PACS for post-processing.
