Intermountain Health in Butte, MT is hiring an Imaging Technologist to operate imaging equipment and produce diagnostic-quality images under Radiologist supervision.

The role requires ARRT certification (R), Montana licensure or eligibility, and an Associate’s degree or diploma. You will read orders, educate patients on safety, maintain records, and participate in quality assurance while providing compassionate care.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree or diploma from a two-year college or technical school or minimum 6 months related experience.
• ARRT certification and Montana licensure or eligibility to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills; ability to interpret medical records and orders.

Responsabilidades

• Access and update patient medical records in EMR and input physician orders.
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment per Radiologist instructions.
• Explain procedures and safety measures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Monitor patients during imaging and ensure radiation protection for patient and staff.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain equipment and supplies.
