Intermountain Health is hiring an Imaging Technologist to operate imaging equipment and produce diagnostic-quality images under Radiologist guidance. You will educate patients on imaging procedures, position them safely, and monitor during procedures to ensure optimal results.

The role requires ARRT certification/ Montana licensure, completion of an associate degree or equivalent training, and commitment to ongoing quality assurance and safety standards.

Formación

• Must have an Associate’s degree or diploma from a two-year college or technical school or minimum 6 months related experience and/or training.
• ARRT (R) Additional Certification in at least one other modality within 18 months of hire.
• Current Montana Licensure.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
• Ability to respond to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community.

Responsabilidades

• Operate imaging equipment to produce quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes under Radiologist direction.
• Educate, interview, screen and explain imaging procedures and safety to patients.
• Position patients and use immobilization devices to obtain optimum views.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to needs per protocols.
• Administer contrast media as directed by Radiologist and Pharmacy guidelines.
• Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Engage in ongoing quality assurance activities and participate in quality reviews.
• Float to other departments as needed within competency and qualifications.
