Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an MRI Technologist for an on-site role based at our Atlantic Station facility in Atlanta, GA. You will perform MRI procedures across age groups, ensure protocol accuracy, and support image quality and patient safety standards.

Required ARRT MRI (MR) certification and BLS, plus 2 years of MRI experience. This role emphasizes teamwork, patient communication, and adherence to ACR guidelines in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• 2 years experience as an MRI Technologist required.
• Advanced certification by the ARRT in MRI (MR) required.
• BLS certified required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence and proficiency in performing all MRI procedures on patients in every age group.
• Positions patient, selects the correct protocol, and utilizes all required equipment.
• Maintains competency in all non-scanner related components.
• Accurately follows established imaging protocols for exam being performed.
• Performs quality control procedures in accordance with the ACR guidelines.
• Provides quality age specific care in accordance with prescribed standards and practices.
• Provides patient education and communications in accordance with prescribed standards.
• Maintains proficiency to perform advance MR procedures.
