Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an MRI Technologist for an on-site role at our Atlantic Station facility in Atlanta, GA.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT MRI certification, BLS, and at least two years of MRI experience.

You will perform MRI procedures across age groups, ensure protocol compliance, provide patient education, and train on-site staff while maintaining safety and image quality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• 2 years MRI experience required.
• ARRT MRI certification required; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures on patients of all ages following established imaging protocols.
• Positions patient and selects correct protocol with required equipment.
• Maintains competency in non-scanner components and adheres to safety practices.
• Performs quality control procedures in line with ACR guidelines and documents scan details.
• Provides patient education and communication per standards; trains on-site staff; communicates with on-site operator remotely when needed.
