ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital is a full-service, 117-bed acute care facility serving residents of Tarboro and surrounding communities with a wide range of health services. As part of the ECU Health system, the hospital offers high-quality care provided by over 20 medical specialists, along with rehabilitation services, a birthing center, a cancer center, outpatient clinics, and more.

Position Summary

An MRI Technologist IV is a professional qualified by credentialing, education, and clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care using MR and related procedures. The scope of practice includes procedures permitted by law, for which the individual has received education, demonstrated competency, and holds the ARRT (MR) registry, the standard in radiology practice.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Current ARRT (MR) certification
• At least 8 years of experience as an MRI technologist

Additional Information

• Primary shift: Day
• Schedule: 26 hours/week, Wednesday and Friday (7:30am - 6:00pm), Thursday (9:00am - 3:30pm)
• On Call: No
• Weekends: No
• Benefits: Great benefits
• Note: Although listed as MRI Technologist IV, based on your qualifications, you may be hired as a Technologist I, II, III, or IV.
