Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL is hiring an MRI Technologist II through Endeavor Health. This full-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and an hourly pay range of $36.42 to $56.45, with Sundays and weekday evenings included.

You will operate MRI equipment, position patients, administer contrast, and ensure high-quality exams while delivering strong patient service. Required ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification and CPR (BLS); associate degree preferred.

• IEMA licensure preferred.

• Prior MRI or radiology experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images per Radiologist directions.
• Position patients and assist with injections of contrast media.
• Manipulate images to ensure high-quality exams and accuracy.
• Provide customer service and communicate procedures to patients clearly.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.42 - $56.45 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position:

MRI Technologist II

Location:

Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL

Contract:

Full-Time, 40 hours weekly

Hours:

Sundays 10:30am to 7:00pm, Weekdays 1:30pm to 10:00pm or 2:30pm - 11

What you will do:

Operates MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Positions patients, administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high-quality exam. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher
• Required: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certified
• Preferred: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
• Preferred: Prior MRI experience or other radiology experience
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to troubleshoot problems as related to the software
