Job summary

Swedish Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist for the Skokie location. This registry/PRN role offers variable hours and an hourly pay range based on experience. The position requires ARRT licensure, appropriate radiology certification, CPR certification, and prior MRI tech experience.

You will perform MRI exams, prepare patients, ensure comfort, review images for quality, and assist with post-procedural care for all ages. Benefits accompany full/part-time arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exam, record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure comfort.
• Review MRI images to ensure optimum quality.
• Assist with post-procedural care and provide resources as directed.

Hourly Pay Range:<\/p>

$36.42 - $56.45 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. <\/p>

• Per Diem Commitment Level: Per Diem Level 1: 32-72 hrs. or Per Diem Level 2: 73-110 hrs. or Per Diem Level 3 : 111-144 hrs. / per 6-week schedule<\/li>
  
• Required Travel: Local<\/li>
  

What you will do:<\/h3>

• Perform MRI exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures<\/li>
  
• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort<\/li>
  
• Review MRI images to ensure optimum quality<\/li>
  
• Assist with patient/family participation in post-procedural care for all age groups and provide resource information, as directed<\/li>
