Job summary

Advocate Health's Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center seeks a full-time MRI Technologist to operate state-of-the-art MR scanners and perform advanced imaging across cardiac, neuro, body, and musculoskeletal exams.

You will review patient history, administer contrast under a Radiologist’s direction, and ensure patient safety. Ideal candidates hold an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 2 years MRI experience, and relevant MRI certifications with BLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and magnetic safety.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient service skills.
• Ability to work independently and use hospital information systems.

Responsibilities

• Operates MR equipment for basic to advanced diagnostic procedures.
• Obtains patient history and ensures exam accuracy under Radiologist direction.
• Performs contrast administration and bed positioning with safety compliance.
• Maintains records and supports education for staff and students.
