Job summary

Aurora St Luke's Medical Center is seeking a dedicated MRI technologist to join its imaging team. This role features a 32-hour work week with a 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM shift, offering a structured schedule and opportunities for skill development in a high-volume MRI environment.

The position includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus and training supported by a collaborative team of radiology professionals across GE and Siemens scanners. Strong patient care and safety are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
• No experience required.
• Certification within ARRT/ARRT-equivalent within timelines (as required).

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment to perform basic to mid-level diagnostic exams across body regions.
• Obtains patient history, verifies orders, and administers contrast media under radiologist supervision.
• Positions patients, selects scanning parameters, ensures image quality and patient safety.
• Post-processes images, labels studies, and documents charges and patient information.
