Job summary

MedStar Health, including Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, is hiring an MRI Tech II for a full-time, 36-hour week. The role involves 3 12-hour shifts (Fri, Sat, Sun, 7:00 am–7:30 pm) with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

You will deliver safe, high-quality MRI imaging and support a team-focused environment dedicated to patient-centered care. You will require an Associate's degree or Radiologic Technology/MRI certificate, ARRT or ARMRIT MRI certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Certificate in Radiologic Technology or MRI required.
• Three to four years of MRI experience required.
• ARRT MRI certification required on hire.
• ARMRIT certification required on hire.
• BLS certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures.
• Demonstrate competency across locations and patient populations; select factors and administer contrast per policy.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance workflows and patient care.
• Maintain safe MRI environment per Safety Program and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Coordinate patient flow and document care in the EHR; ensure images are PACS-distributed for interpretation.
