Job summary

MedStar Health’s Franklin Square Medical Center in Maryland is seeking an MRI Technologist II for a part-time position (24 hours/week). Shifts include Sundays and Mondays or Saturdays and Sundays from 6:30pm to 7:00am. Join a team dedicated to safe, high-quality imaging in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires 3–4 years MRI experience, ARMRIT or ARRT MRI certification, and BLS. You will perform routine and specialized MRI, ensure patient safety, and contribute to QA and education

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or Radiologic Technology/MRI certificate required.
• 3–4 years of MRI experience required.
• ARMRIT or ARRT MRI certification required on hire.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and proper positioning; apply IV access and contrast as needed.
• Participate in QA initiatives and training activities; support performance improvement.
• Prepare patients, obtain histories, explain procedures, and communicate with care teams.
• Ensure images are processed and distributed to PACS in a timely manner.
