Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform all MRI procedures in accordance with established department policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered. This full-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and shifts from Tuesday to Friday 3 PM–1:30 AM, with industry-competitive rates and shift differentials.

Responsibilities

• Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost effective imaging.
• Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards.
• Provides appropriate MRI screening process to patients, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.
• Assists in the orientation and training of new staff.
