Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform comprehensive MRI examinations, including neuro and dynamic imaging, under radiologist supervision. You will operate MRI units, adhere to imaging protocols, and ensure patient safety and comfort while delivering high quality results.

The role requires proficiency with MRI equipment, safety protocols, and collaboration with the imaging team. A licensure and an approved program credential are essential, with on‑call

Qualifications

Graduate degree or certificate from an approved radiologic technology program.
ARRT licensure (or state licensure as applicable) required.
Demonstrated knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology and radiology safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Operate MRI equipment to acquire cross‑sectional image scans for diagnostic purposes.
Interact directly with patients and physicians to ensure quality examinations.
May administer intravenous contrast under established protocols.
Maintain patient and staff safety specific to MRI procedures.
Communicate with the care team to coordinate efficient patient care.
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.
