Responsibilities

• The technologist is primarily responsible for the daily operations of the MRI section, including patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, reporting equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA).
• Responsible for performing studies in other modalities as trained or required.
• Responsible for enforcing magnetic field safety for MRI patients, operators, and visitors.
• The technologist maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase their understanding and knowledge of the field, diseases, and new procedures as they evolve.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in MRI.
• Must have completed an accredited Radiology or MRI program (Associate's Degree).

Required Licensure:

• MRAD - TX
• RTR & RTMR
• BLS-CPR
