Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform MRI procedures and collect diagnostic data under supervision in a clinical setting.

You will prepare patients, verify identities, obtain histories, and follow ALARA principles to optimize safety and image quality while maintaining confidentiality. The role includes teaching students and supporting interventional MRI procedures.

Qualifications

• Certification requirements include ARRT (MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB with MR specialization.
• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency in routine and complex MRI procedures with emphasis on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures and acquire data under licensed supervision.
• Prepare patients, verify identification and obtain clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Apply imaging protocols, optimize parameters, and follow ALARA for safety.
• Administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and ensure data integrity.
• Educate and supervise students, assist with MRI interventional procedures when needed.
• Select pulse sequences per protocol and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Apply safety principles to minimize risk to patients and staff.
