Job summary

RadNet in Pasadena, CA seeks an MRI Technologist I to join a dedicated team delivering quality imaging and compassionate patient care. You will operate MRI scanners, position patients, ensure safety protocols, and communicate clearly with patients and radiologists to achieve optimal exams.

Must be enrolled in an MRI Technologist program and complete externship hours; ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification within 6 months; high school diploma or GED; BLS required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in MRI Technologist program and completing externship hours.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification to be obtained within 6 months of graduation.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the safety of patients, staff, and visitors around the MRI system.
• Screens patients entering the MRI room for contraindications.
• Maintains accurate patient records and protects privacy.
• Operates MRI scanners, checks image quality, and makes adjustments as needed.
• Guides patients through the exam and answers questions.
• Participates in daily QC and ensures equipment cleanliness and readiness.
