Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to examine requests, verify orders, and work closely with Radiologists during MRI exams and related procedures.

The role includes patient preparation, history-taking, correct specimen and contrast handling, and strict adherence to radiation safety policies. This on-site position requires ARRT MRI certification and BLS, with teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Advanced registry required from the ARRT in MRI or ARMRIT.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests, verify orders, and refer discrepancies to Radiologist.
• Prepare patients with explanations and ensure two identifiers are used.
• Interview patients for medical history and document in requisitions.
• Perform MRI exams and assist in invasive procedures with sterile technique.
