Job summary

Atrium Health Cleveland - MRI is hiring an MRI technologist to perform MRI scanning and support radiologists throughout exams. You will verify orders, prepare patients with explanations, review clinical history, and ensure safe, accurate imaging.

This role emphasizes patient care, contrast administration, and strict adherence to radiation safety. Requirements include graduation from a recognized radiologic/nuclear medicine program, MRI registry eligibility within 1 year of hire, and BLS

Qualifications

• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• BLS required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders; refer to Radiologist for discrepancies.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; prepare patients.
• Review EMRs to obtain pertinent clinical history and document findings.
• Operate MRI from start to finish and dictate results.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol and document type/amount.
• Maintain radiation safety and report equipment malfunctions.
