Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams, ensuring patient safety and comfort across all age groups. You will follow established imaging protocols, perform quality control, and support clinicians with accurate imaging data.

Ideal candidates will have AMA/JRCERT accreditation, ARDMS or ARRT radiography credentials, and BLS certification, with a focus on precise protocol execution and patient education within a collaborative radiology team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Licensure: ARDMS or ARRT radiography certification as required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in performing MRI procedures on patients of all ages. Positions patient and selects correct protocol.
• Maintains competencies in non-scanner components.
• Follows established imaging protocols and performs quality control per ACR guidelines.
• Provides age-appropriate patient education and communication.
• Positioning and protocol selection for radiologic exams across all age groups when requested.
