Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to image patients across neonatal to geriatric ages, under radiologist supervision. You will position patients, select protocols, and operate MRI equipment while maintaining quality standards and patient safety.

Role requires AMA or JRCERT accredited training, ARDMS/ARRT in Radiography, and BLS certification. No experience required, but 6 months MRI experience preferred. Full-time, benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required; 6 months as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• Licenses: ARDMS or ARRT in Radiography; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in all MRI procedures on patients of all ages.
• Maintains competencies in non-scanner related components.
• Follows established imaging protocols for each exam.
• Performs quality control procedures per ACR guidelines.
• Provides age-appropriate patient care and education.
• Communicates with patients according to prescribed standards.
• Position and operate imaging equipment and select protocols for radiologic exams.
