Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams under the Radiologist's supervision. You will position patients, select protocols, and ensure QA per ACR standards while delivering age-appropriate care. Education must be ARRT/ARDMS eligible and BCLS current.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program is required.
• ARDMS or ARRT radiography registration required upon hire.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required upon hire.
• No prior MRI experience required; 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures on patients of all ages following approved protocols.
• Position patients and select correct imaging protocols and equipment.
• Maintain competencies for non-scanner components and QA per ACR guidelines.
• Provide patient education and compassionate care across neonatal to geriatrics.
