Job summary

St. Elizabeth's Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform a wide variety of MRI/MRA procedures with independent judgment and a focus on patient care. The role reports to the Lead MRI Technologist and collaborates with radiology staff and nursing to ensure efficient imaging services.

The incumbent handles MR equipment testing, QA, and supports staff training, while ensuring accurate billing, image retrieval, and timely interpretation within established policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• In-depth MR imaging procedures knowledge from 1–2 years MR technologist experience.
• Excellent communication skills across diverse teams.
• Thorough knowledge of normal cross sectional anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Provides superior patient service and quality imaging per standards.
• Performs MR/MRA procedures with independent judgment.
• Maintains equipment and reports issues per vendor and center policy.
• Assists radiologist with MR examinations and interventional MR as needed.
• Completes patient tracking and PACS duties for accurate record keeping.
