Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking an MRI Technologist to independently perform MRI procedures ordered by physicians, ensuring safety and high-quality diagnostic images.

The role requires strict adherence to patient care standards, proper documentation, and accurate charging and coding. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, carry current CPR certification, and hold ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT credentials with a plan to complete state certification if applicable.

Qualifications

• CPR certification current and valid.
• Graduate of an approved accredited program in Radiologic Technology or MRI.
• Registered by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT.

Responsibilities

• Performs all MRI procedures ordered by physicians.
• Ensures patient, operator, and visitor safety during procedures.
• Uses pressure injector safely and correctly.
• Monitors patient safety and documents reactions to contrast.
• Maintains infection control and cleanliness of room and equipment.
• Charges procedures accurately and codes modifiers correctly.
• Follows HIPAA guidelines in all computer systems.
