Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT or ARMRIT MRI certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment independently to produce high-quality images.
• Screen patients for magnet safety and obtain pertinent clinical history.
• Prepare scan room, manage supplies, and maintain cleanliness.
• Administer contrast materials per protocol and monitor patient safety.
• Document data accurately in hospital systems and communicate with radiologists.
• Provide training to staff and students as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and respond to emergencies.
