Job description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform Magnetic Resonance examinations in accordance with physician orders, utilizing advanced MRI equipment while considering patient-specific needs. The role involves applying knowledge of imaging techniques and patient treatment to produce high-quality images essential for diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Conducting MRI scans with precision and safety.
• Ensuring imaging factors and techniques are optimized for each patient.
• Providing patient-centered care, addressing special or age-related needs.
• Maintaining compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
• Adhering to safety standards, including BLS certification.

Qualifications And Skills Required

• Relevant education meeting certification, licensing, or registration standards.
• Oregon MRI Technologist License or Temporary License upon hire, with a requirement to obtain a permanent license if applicable.
• National certification from recognized radiologic or MRI technologist organizations within six months of hire.
• Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, patient care, and safety protocols.
