Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Radiology MRI Technologist to support MRI imaging and patient care. You will prepare exam rooms, educate patients on MRI procedures and safety, and ensure high-quality imaging through precise positioning and contrast administration.

Requires ARRT MR certification, BLS, and ability to work flexible shifts, including nights. Provides comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Job Description:

• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
• Educates patients and family members about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions, promoting comfort and cooperation throughout the exam.
• Positions patients accurately and comfortably using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques to ensure high-quality imaging.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors patients for adverse reactions.
