Job summary

Wellstar Health Systems in Georgia seeks an MRI Technologist to join the WEST Team, supporting imaging services across Kennestone Hospital, North Fulton Hospital, and Windy Hill facilities. You will apply your expertise to deliver safe, high-quality exams and a supportive patient experience.

The role offers a full-time schedule with variable shifts, potential relocation assistance, and opportunities to work across multiple sites. Candidates should have ARRT credentials and hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting.
• Certifications: ARRT-R and ARRT-MR; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams and produce diagnostic-quality images per established protocols.
• Verify orders, collect relevant clinical history, complete MRI safety screening, and assess contraindications.
• Confirm patient identity per policy; ensure accurate documentation, labeling, and required markers.
• Prepare patients for exams; explain procedures using AIDET and maintain privacy, comfort, and dignity.
• Apply MRI safety practices at all times (magnet safety, access control, hearing protection, safety devices).
