Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Mount Pleasant, TX, seeks an MRI Technologist to perform routine and advanced MRI imaging, support colleagues, and ensure efficient patient throughput. The role requires flexibility to work other shifts and campuses, with involvement in QA and image safety within licensure scope.

You will troubleshoot basic equipment, manage PACS storage, and assist radiologists to achieve optimal imaging results while aligning with hospital policies and core values.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent.
• 1 year of hospital/clinical experience preferred.
• Basic computer experience required.
• MR imaging experience and safety awareness emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures to support patient throughput.
• Troubleshoots equipment and reports issues to Biomedical staff or Manager.
• Ensures exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS.
• Assists radiologists and referring physicians to optimize imaging quality and patient care.
• Maintains patient safety, screen processes, and adherence to imaging competencies.
