Job summary

CHRISTUS Health seeks an MRI Technologist to perform routine and advanced imaging, support peers, and facilitate patient flow across shifts and campuses. The role includes QA participation, image archiving in PACS, and maintaining safety standards.

The position requires ARRT or ARMRIT MR certification within 1 year, BLS, and a foundation in radiology education. Willingness to work across locations aligns with department needs and patient care goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
• 1 year of hospital/clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets CHRISTUS Health competencies and demonstrates professional behavior.
• Maintains compliance with policies and confidentiality.
• Promotes positive staff development and collaboration with radiologists and physicians.
• Ensures exams are archived correctly in PACS and adheres to QA processes.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues and reports to leadership.
• Assists in imaging procedures and patient throughput across shifts/campuses.
