Job summary

The CHRISTUS Health MRI Technologist will perform a wide range of routine and advanced imaging procedures, support fellow technologists, and help maintain smooth patient flow on site in Beaumont, TX.

This per diem role requires MR certification within 1 year of hire, BLS, and state licensure if in NM; basic computer skills are acceptable. Flexibility to work multiple shifts and campuses is required to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• MR imaging certification (ARRT or ARMRIT) required within 1 year of hire.
• State licensure required if in New Mexico (MRT by MIRTP NMED).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes staff growth and engagement by collaborating with management and physicians.
• Provides assistance to radiologists and referring physicians to support patient care.
• Ensures MRI exams are stored in PACS and follows downtime procedures as needed.
