Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine and advanced imaging procedures, support other technologists, and help maintain smooth patient flow. The role may require working PRN shifts and at other CHRISTUS Health campuses as needed, including travel as required.

Candidates must be able to troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and ensure patient safety and image quality within regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required.
• 1 year hospital or clinical setting experience preferred.
• ARRT or ARMRIT MR certification within 1 year of hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures and related imaging with accuracy and safety.
• Assists radiologists and referring physicians to support patient throughput.
• Troubleshoots basic equipment issues and maintains image quality in PACS.
• Coordinates with department staff to ensure smooth patient flow and adherence to policies.
• Demonstrates flexibility by working prn shifts and possibly at other CHRISTUS Health campuses.
