Job summary

Akumin is seeking an MRI Technologist to ensure patient safety and perform high-quality MR studies both on site and remotely. You will communicate with radiologists, patients and team members, and assist in training technologists and assistants.

The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, CPR, and a valid state license where applicable, with flexibility to work across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification as allowable by contract.
• State license, if applicable, and CPR certification.
• ARRT(R) or MR/ARMRIT certification options may apply.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and pre-screen for contraindications.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic MR images; operate multiple MR systems.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, patients and staff.
• Train or orient new technologists and assistants, on site or remote.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
