Job summary

Akumin is expanding its team and seeks an MRI Technologist to perform MRI exams at multiple sites with patient-centered care. You will ensure safety, produce high-quality images, and support a positive patient experience.

Qualified candidates hold an ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS MRI registry, active state licensure, CPR certification, and a High School diploma; an Associate’s degree is a plus. Competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and strong benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS MRI Registry required or preferred.
• State license required where applicable.
• CPR certification required.
• Active driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic MRI images.
• Ensure patient safety and pre-screen for contraindications.
• Assist in preparing for transport and restocking supplies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists and team.
• Train new technologists as needed.
