Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams across Utah Valley Hospital and the Outpatient Center in Provo. You will work with radiologists and care teams to deliver high-quality images while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

The role offers PRN scheduling with 10-hour shifts, weekend coverage, and a strong benefits package; prior MRI experience is preferred, along with ARRT MR/ARMRIT credentials and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification (or cross-trained in MRI).
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree (preferred) from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic MRI exams with proper patient preparation.
• Reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy per protocol.
• Adheres to MRI safety guidelines and maintains a safe workspace.
• Assists and mentors students and other MRI staff as needed.
• Provides patient education and ensures comfort during exams.
