Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT or ARRT(R) cross-trained in MRI.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred: 1–2 years MRI technologist experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT MR competency across clinical functions.
• Verifies patient ID, orders, and prepares the patient.
• Performs exams per protocol and reviews image quality.
• Adheres to MRI safety guidelines and keeps a safe environment.
• Completes studies within time limits without compromising care.
• Mentors students and other MRI staff in protocols.
• Provides patient education and ensures comfort.
• Follows QC, coding, and equipment-use procedures.
