Job summary

The candidate should hold ARRT MR/ARMRIT credentials (or ARRT(R) cross-trained in MRI) and BLS certification, with 1–2 years of MRI experience preferred and a bachelor’s degree encouraged.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT or ARRT(R) cross-trained in MR imaging.
• Possesses BLS certification.
• Preferable to have a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI exams with attention to quality and safety.
• Identify patients and verify orders; prepare the exam.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and maintain clean equipment.
• Educate and assist students and other MRI staff on protocols.
