Qualifications

• Performs MRI procedures per department policy.
• Ensures correct patient data and technical settings before exams.
• Maintains patient safety and privacy during imaging.

Responsibilities

• Performs all magnetic resonance imaging procedures according to protocols.
• Manages patient load per shift and on-call coverage.
• Prepares and administers intravenous contrast as needed.
• Performs venipuncture using sterile technique.
• Operates RIS to record patient data and procedures.
• Archives and processes images for radiologist review.
• Ensures imaging data reaches PACS in a timely manner.
• Maintains equipment and work area in order.
• Assists in patient transport and monitoring during MRI.
• Communicates with hospital staff and physicians regarding MR procedures.
