Job summary

Shields Health Care Group's MRI Technologists support the integrity of the organization with patient-focused care in a fast-paced clinical setting. The MRI technologist provides a professional atmosphere to all customers while maintaining efficiency and safety.

Requirements include MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications; ARMRIT acceptance at some locations. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to assist with mobility may be needed. Pay range is $40-$60/hr plus benefits.

Qualifications

MRI scanning experience required.
ARRT MRI certification and CPR certification required.
ARMRIT certification accepted at some locations.

Responsibilities

Follow policies, procedures and protocols to ensure patient safety.
Inform patients about exam details to their understanding level.
Position patients accurately and ensure comfort during imaging.
Maintain visual and verbal contact with patients throughout the exam.
Perform scans according to center protocols and administer contrast when needed.
Record data in the Tech Data Entry system and provide films/CD when appropriate.
Submit data/films to Radiologist after exam completion and assist clerical staff as needed.
Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms; adhere to training/licensing requirements.
