Shields Health Care Group's MRI Technologists support the integrity of the organization with their commitment to excellence. The MRI technologist will provide a professional, caring atmosphere to all customer groups, while maintaining a fast-paced, multi-tasked oriented clinical environment.

Pay range for this position is $40-$60/hr + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors."

Qualifications

• MRI scanning experience required.
• MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications required; ARMRIT accepted at some locations.

Responsabilités

• Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Inform the patient of all aspects of their exam to their level of understanding.
• Ensure patient is cleared of all contraindications and hazards.
• Accurately position the patient and ensure their comfort.
• Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam.
• Perform scan in accordance to center's protocol.
• Administer intravenous contrast.
• Complete all forms pertaining to patient's exam.
• Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program.
• Provide and issue films/CD when appropriate.
• Forward data and/or films/CD to Radiologist upon completion of exam.
• Assist clerical staff as circumstances arise.
• Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as needed.
• Adhere to all necessary training/licenses based on the credentialing policy.
• Contrast administration
