Job summary

Shields Health Care Group in Massachusetts is seeking an MRI Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging in a fast-paced setting. You will ensure patient safety, explain procedures, and position patients for accurate scans.

Responsibilities include administering contrast as needed, recording data, and delivering films to radiologists. Required ARRT/MRI certifications and CPR; ARMRIT accepted at some locations.

Qualifications

• MRI scanning experience required.
• ARRT certification and CPR certification required.
• ARMRIT certification accepted at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies, procedures and protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Inform the patient about the exam to their level of understanding.
• Position the patient and ensure comfort during the scan.
• Administer intravenous contrast when indicated.
• Record patient data in the Tech Data Entry program.
• Provide films/CDs when appropriate and forward to Radiologist.
