Job summary

Danbury Hospital is seeking a skilled MRI Radiographer to provide high-quality imaging services in the MRI NMH department. The role includes MRI safety, contrast administration, and image acquisition with Cerner RIS and Fuji PACS workflow.

The candidate should have ARRT MRI accreditation, a minimum of 3 years MRI experience, and a CT state license. Significantly, the position operates a Siemens Espree 1.5T MRI system with possible further duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Radiographer with ARRT MRI accreditation.
• Minimum of 3 years MRI experience.
• CT state license.
• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• MRI safety screening per departmental procedures.
• Perform IV contrast administration and venipuncture.
• Acquire and position images using appropriate coils.
• Use Cerner RIS and Fuji PACS to manage studies.
• Operate Siemens Espree 1.5 open-bore MRI.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
